Tab Control

The Tab Control can be used as a replacement for the tab control that is native to PowerBuilder. One difference between the two is that with the PBUS Tab Control, you need to call the of_OpenTab methods to open user objects or windows. PBUS Tab Control doesn't support creating tabs in the designer due to limitation of the PB IDE.

Using this control can give your application an immediate face-list. The tab control can be customized in a number of different ways:

1.Allow users to move tabs around to change the order.

2.Dynamically close all or one tab.

3.Display a close button at the end of the tab strip, in the currently selected tab, in all tabs or not at all.

4.Allow users to navigate tabs with scroll arrows or with a drop down arrow.

5.Dynamically enable, disable, hide or show any tab.

6.Open PB userobjects or windows within the tab control.

7.Display images and text in each tab.

8.Change tab text color.
